Dr. Joachim Weber

Dr. Joachim Weber promovierte 2002 an der TU Kaiserslautern in den Bereichen Robotik und Künstliche Intelligenz und wandte sich in den folgenden Jahren einer Tätigkeit in der Industrie zu. Neben verantwortlichen Aufgaben in der Echtzeit- und Automatisierungstechnik war er ebenfalls tätig als Softwarearchitekt für Informationssysteme und Product Owner im Bereich von ERP-Software (Enterprise Resource Planning). Seit 2022 leitet Dr. Weber die Abteilung »Architecture-Centric Engineering (ACE)«. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen neben der angewandten Forschung in der branchenunabhängigen Konzeption von Softwarearchitekturen. --- Dr. Joachim Weber received his PhD at TU Kaiserslautern in the areas of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and turned to working in industry in the following years. In addition to high-responsibility tasks in real-time and automation technology, he also worked as a software architect for information systems and product owner in the field of ERP software (Enterprise Resource Planning). Since 2022, Dr. Weber has been co-head of the department “Architecture-Centric Engineering (ACE)”. In addition to applied research, his work focuses on the industry-independent design of software architectures.
