Dr.-Ing. Matthias Koch is a software engineer at Fraunhofer IESE and head of the Digital Innovation Design department. Since 2012, he has been involved in the design of innovative software solutions, both with customers from industry and in research projects. This includes the areas of requirements engineering, user experience engineering, and the implementation of creativity and innovation workshops. In the field of "digital ecosystems" in particular, Matthias Koch works on the design of methods and tools to support the development of digital platforms.

Patrick Mennig heads the Digital Innovation Design department at Fraunhofer IESE. He supports companies in particular in the areas of creativity and innovation, requirements engineering, and idea generation and design of digital ecosystems. He deals with innovation processes in SMEs against the backdrop of digital transformation.
