In a two-phase approach - consisting of a concept and implementation phase - Fraunhofer IESE first analyzed the current situation, examined comparable projects and worked with local stakeholders to define the city's specific requirements. The focus here was particularly on the areas of mobility optimization and traffic flow management.
Fraunhofer IESE worked closely with a steering committee consisting of representatives from the city administration, housing association, education sector, data protection, business development, industry, and other regional institutions.
