Digital ecosystems depend on the processing and refinement of data. Confidential handling of data and legal conformity are indispensable for a successful data economy. To achieve this, requirements on data sovereignty must be implemented. In our presentation, we will introduce the concept of data usage control and its technical implementation.

Data usage control enables data to be used across systems in compliance with predefined constraints and restrictions, which is indispensable for a successful data economy. In our presentation, we will discuss usage scenarios for data sovereignty in the area of Automotive, such as the use of vehicle data by third parties.
