The MBCC Group based in Mannheim is one of the world’s leading suppliers of construction chemical products and solutions. Its main brands include Master Builders Solutions, PCI, Thermotek, Wolman, Fire Protectors, Colorbiotics, Watson Bowman Acme, TPH Bausysteme, Bluey Technologies, and Nautec. The MBCC Group employs approximately 7,500 people worldwide at operating facilities in more than 60 countries. The global headquarters in Mannheim houses several global functions, including Global IT Security.
In order to implement a holistic IT security strategy and review individual units and facilities, the Group’s Global IT Security commissioned Fraunhofer IESE to perform IT security audits and penetration tests. Following the first projects in 2021, further projects were started in 2022 to actively support the MBCC Group’s Global IT Security with experts from Fraunhofer IESE.
