With more than 2 billion euros income from premiums and 1.6 million customers, Cosmos Direkt Gruppe is the number one among the direct-selling insurance companies in Germany. An important element of Cosmos’ formula for success is the direct contact with the customer and around-the-clock availability of this direct contact.
For our customer Cosmos Direkt, we analyzed their current IT infrastructure. Possible improvements of the IT infrastructure, enriched by business requirements, were combined into a starting basis for a sustainable target solution as an overall picture of the infrastructure. This overall picture comprises both the IT view and the business view – with high availability of the customer services, 24/7 every day of the year, being one of the most important business requirements.
