Software-Cluster

The cluster “Software Innovations for the Digital Enterprise” (in short: Software-Cluster) is one of five winners in the “Spitzencluster” (“cluster of excellence”) competition, a flagship of the high-tech strategy of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Fraunhofer IESE is the consortium leader in this project and is thus responsible for the exploration and development of the enterprise software of the future. In addition, fundamental issues are being investigated in three different research areas. In the area of interoperability, we are engaged in further evolving requirements, architecture, and reuse methods for the development of emergent systems.
