Place: Essen, Germany
REFSQ 2013 seeks reports of novel ideas and techniques that enhance the quality of RE’s products and processes, as well as reflections on current research and industrial RE practices. We invite submissions on any aspect of RE. We encourage researchers and practitioners from the RE, software engineering, information systems, service science, and embedded systems fields to present original work. We have chosen “Interdisciplinary RE” as the special theme for REFSQ’13. In addition to general papers on RE and quality, we therefore encourage submissions that highlight the interplay of RE with related disciplines such as software architecture, quality assurance, user interface design, project management, and agile software development. Contributions from further related areas such as systems engineering, economics, and management are also very welcome for the insights they provide to RE.
The conference is organized by the Program Co-Chairs Dr. Joerg Doerr – Fraunhofer IESE, Germany and Andreas L. Opdahl – Univ. of Bergen, Norway.
Sebastian Adam (Fraunhofer IESE) and Prof. Klaus Schmid (University of Hildesheim) will give a talk about: "Effective Requirements Elicitation in Product Line Application Engineering – An Experiment".
In this talk, they present a controlled experiment performed with 26 students that compared two requirements elicitation approaches when instantiating a given software product line (SPL).
