Von 2011 bis 2017 war er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Forschungsgruppe \u201eMicroelectronic Systems Design\u201c am Fachbereich Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik der Technischen Universit\u00e4t Kaiserslautern t\u00e4tig.\r\n\r\nSeit 2017 ist er als Expert Engineer f\u00fcr Virtual Hardware Engineering in der Abteilung Embedded Systems des Fraunhofer-Instituts f\u00fcr Experimentelles Software Engineering IESE in Kaiserslautern t\u00e4tig. Im Jahr 2017 promovierte er mit Auszeichnung zum Thema \u201eModellierung, Analyse und Optimierung von DRAM-Speichern und deren Controller-Architekturen\u201c. F\u00fcr diese Arbeit erhielt er 2018 den Outstanding Dissertation Award der European Design and Automation Association (EDAA).\r\n\r\nAm Fraunhofer IESE in Kaiserslautern leitet er seit 2017 zahlreiche Forschungs- und Industrieprojekte im Bereich der eingebetteten Systeme. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat er mehr als 100 Beitr\u00e4ge in einschl\u00e4gigen wissenschaftlichen Fachzeitschriften und Konferenzb\u00e4nden ver\u00f6ffentlicht.\r\n\r\nVon 2022 bis 2023 war er Professor f\u00fcr Embedded Systems an der htw saar.
