Ohne von Messestand zu Messestand hetzen und trotzdem Kontakt zu einem spannenden Forschungsinstitut kn\u00fcpfen geht nicht? DOCH. \u2013 Denn am 12. Dezember 2018 l\u00e4dt das Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Experimentelles Software Engineering IESE gemeinsam mit dem Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Techno- und Wirtschaftsmathematik ITWM zur Career Night ins Fraunhofer-Zentrum in Kaiserslautern ein. Nicole Spanier-Baro, unsere Verwaltungsleiterin am Fraunhofer IESE, erl\u00e4utert, was hinter dieser Karrieremesse der etwas anderen Art steckt.<\/p>\n

Das Get\u00fcmmel auf klassischen Jobmessen kennen wir alle. Was verbirgt sich hinter dem Format der Career Night?<\/h3>\n

Im Gegensatz zu den typischen Karrieremessen findet unsere Career Night direkt vor Ort statt. So k\u00f6nnen sich die Interessenten bei F\u00fchrungen durch das Haus hautnah \u00fcber unsere beiden in Kaiserslautern ans\u00e4ssigen Forschungsinstitute Fraunhofer IESE und ITWM informieren. Unsere Wissenschaftler erz\u00e4hlen dabei vom Arbeiten bei Fraunhofer und bieten den Teilnehmenden bei verschiedenen Sessions die M\u00f6glichkeit, \u00bbForschung live\u00ab zu erleben. Mit unserer Career Night m\u00f6chten wir so etwas \u00bbBesonderes\u00ab bieten, an das sich die Studierenden noch lange erinnern werden.<\/p>\n

Was hei\u00dft etwas \u00bbBesonderes\u00ab bieten? Auf welche Highlights d\u00fcrfen sich die Studierenden freuen?<\/h3>\n

Highlight des Abends wird das eigens f\u00fcr Fraunhofer entwickelte Escape Game sein: In einem f\u00fcnf mal f\u00fcnf Meter gro\u00dfen Kubus l\u00f6sen Teams von 10-12 Personen gemeinsam R\u00e4tsel, versuchen einen Hackerangriff abzuwehren und damit kostbare Daten zu retten. So soll der Abend unseren Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern in erster Linie Spa\u00df machen. Nat\u00fcrlich m\u00f6chten wir an diesem Abend auch \u00fcber Einstiegsm\u00f6glichkeiten an unseren Instituten informieren, denn ob Praktikum, Studijob, Abschlussarbeit, Einstieg als wissenschaftliche\/-r Mitarbeiter\/-in oder gleich einer Promotion bieten wir f\u00fcr jeden spannende Zukunftsperspektiven.<\/p>\n

Und an wen genau richtet sich die Veranstaltung?<\/h3>\n

Sie richtet sich an Studierende allgemein, im Fokus liegen die Studierenden der MINT-F\u00e4cher, speziell Informatik und Mathematik. Dabei haben wir zum einen die Studierenden in Kaiserslautern im Blick, freuen uns aber auch \u00fcber die Teilnahme aus umliegenden Universit\u00e4ten, beispielsweise Saarbr\u00fccken, Mannheim oder Karlsruhe. Das Interesse ist ausgesprochen gro\u00df, vielleicht knacken wir mit den Anmeldungen noch die 100.<\/p>\n
