Reference projects of Fraunhofer IESE

In the lighthouse project “RNAuto”, seven Fraunhofer Institutes are collaborating to develop automated production technologies for mRNA-based medicinal products. The consortium bundles interdisciplinary competencies from the fields of medicine, biology, and engineering sciences.

In the BMBF-funded project BaSys4Transfer, Fraunhofer IESE is conducting research together with its project partners on a transfer strategy for transferring Asset Administration Shells and Digital Twins into industrial practice.

In the publicly funded project “DynaSoS”, Fraunhofer IESE conducted research on new systems and software engineering approaches for dynamic systems in order to address the complex interactions of the digitalized world, especially with regard to technology, humans, and the environment.

HÄFNER Präzisionsteile Oberrot GmbH Success Story: In a BaSys satellite project with Fraunhofer IESE, HÄFNER Präzisionsteile Oberrot GmbH has developed a solution for the cross-company exchange of data in order to modernize their legacy system.

Reference Project Ellenberger GmbH & Co KG: BaSyPaaS is a BaSys satellite projects involving four partners. The application partner is Ellenberger GmbH & Co KG with their software service provider Odion GmbH; DFKI and Fraunhofer IESE are involved as research institutes.

Reference Project Infra-Bau 4.0: Intelligent, networked, and always up to date – what has long been commonplace in areas such as Industrie 4.0 is also to become reality in infrastructure construction projects. How exactly can this be achieved? To help make this reality, Fraunhofer IESE is engaged in the research consortium “Infra-Bau 4.0”, where it is working intensively on the development and testing of a digital integration platform.

Reference Project FabOS: In the research project FabOS, Fraunhofer IESE is involved in developing an open, distributed, real-time-capable, and safe operating system for production in an Industrie 4.0 “Smart Factory”.
